My wife and I were looking for a rug for our living room. We made a trip to Calgary and Caspian Rugs was the first stop on the list. Simply put Daniel was amazing. We basically knew nothing except it should be around 8x10 and some general colour themes. Daniel was so patient with us, explaining each design and area of origin. What an education! Selecting a rug requires effort to flip through them all, and we did. Actually Daniel and his partner did all the “flipping” while we narrowed our choices. Daniel wouldn’t let us decide in the shop as he said they must be seen in the actual setting in varying light. He folded up the 2 top contenders and placed them in my trunk. I asked what he needed from me and he said “Nothing, I trust you”. WOW!! Then he said I will come to your house in Canmore with 7 more!! As promised he showed up, with his wife, and they placed all the rugs, 1 by 1, into our living room for us. We narrowed it down to one and he insisted we live with it for a while before deciding. In the end we purchased 2 and are very pleased with our selection. Daniel is one of the most gentle, knowledgeable and patient people we have had the pleasure of dealing with, and it was a pleasure. We purchased our rug in 2008 from Caspian Rugs Centre and recently had it cleaned by them. Their pickup, cleaning and delivery service were excellent, and pricing is very competitive. We immediately noticed the difference is the shine from the silk accents. We have purchased other rugs from them, most recently within the past couple of years.
